New book by a Club member now available for pre-order via all good book stores/online (and I'm sure the author himself).

Not sure on the release date, but have been reliably informed it'll be before Christmas.

Book is now available in all good book stores and online.

The book covers a year's sailing combined with some history of the places visited along with an in-depth history of the Finesse class.

The history aspect is very interesting, especially when one sees the differences in the various channels that have now long since disappeared. Of note to anyone who's sailed to/from Canvey will be the chart showing the extent of Canvey Point in the 1800'sand the erosion over the last 200 years (it's not a "new" thing).

Another side of the skipper is seen, the side without the "mate" and with other crews. It's a side not often seen, but always enjoyed.

A definite must for anyone interested in the East Coast or the Finesse class.
